Simon Robert Tune BA (Hons), PGCTHE, MA, FHEA
Teaching at different levels:
Simon has taught at a variety of levels: in Higher Education at Aberystwyth University for Lifelong Learning and in Further Education for Addysg Oedolion Cymru / Adult Learning Wales; he also has taught at degree level as part of his PGCTHE and recently completed MA in Fine Art. As well as this he has taught students privately and between 2015 and 2017 ran his own photographic learner’s group at Neuadd Yr Hafod in the village of Gorsgoch. Since 2019 he has had to scale back his teaching slightly as he has been working full-time on a PhD in Fine Art Photography, this said he has continued to develop Lifelong Learning classes with new modules starting in 2022 and 2023.
He has 10 years teaching experience and 25 years’ experience working in the photographic industry – (including experience as a trainer, manager and several years running his own company). Further to his MA in Fine Art and PhD research, he has a Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education and a Higher National Certificate in Ecology, he is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and registered to teach with the Education Workforce Council in Wales.
All teaching groups are open to adult learners with any level of experience.
