Photographic artist, teacher, naturalist & writer. My academic practice focuses on landscape \u2013 its meaning and value as we progress deeper into the 21st<\/sup> century. That practice is also highly interdisciplinary and exists at a crossroads between art, science and the humanities.<\/p>\n

I currently live in Ceredigion in West Wales and moved here fifteen years ago. Since this point I have worked in Higher Education for Aberystwyth University as a photography and natural history tutor. I have also worked in the community teaching one off photography classes for organisations such as Denmark Farm Conservation Centre and Cadw at Strata Florida Abbey, set up groups such as Gorsgoch Photography Learners, and taught part-time in Further Education for WEA Cymru and later Addysg Oedolion Cymru \/ Adult Learning Wales. In October 2018 I completed a MA in Fine Art at the School of Art in Aberystwyth and since 2020 \/ 21 have been working full-time on a PhD in photography \u2013 with the thesis recently submitted.<\/p>\n

This website is currently undergoing substantial updates<\/u><\/strong>, starting on the Monday the 13th<\/sup> of July 2026<\/strong> and continuing to Monday the 3rd<\/sup> of August 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Those visiting this site at the beginning of this period may notice pages that are half complete, out-of-date or later changed. I will endeavour to keep the website coherent during this period. Though if you wish to see my latest work \u2013 it is probably best to visit the website again at the beginning of August.<\/p>\n
